She was awarded an award for a regional Sports Emmy during her tenure at WTVJ-TV situated in Miami. She worked at WPLG-TV, Miami as well as WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. She was selected to be anchor on ESPN2 in 1993 when the channel first came on air. After three years of being with ESPN2, she left ESPN2 for Fox Sports.
